Methodology
The board is built to be useful before it is perfect. v0 values are indicative, published with a right of response, and designed to be replaced by provider-verified submissions over time.
What the board is
The SGC India Neocloud Leaderboard is a curated weekly compilation of Indian GPU cloud pricing, capacity signals, and disclosure quality. It is a v0 market index: transparent enough to be useful, modest enough to be corrected.
Sources
Inputs include published rate cards, collected quotes anonymised into ranges, the IndiaAI public portal, and global marketplace public prints. Ranges are used where individual quotes would overstate precision.
The SGC Composite
The Composite has four equally weighted pillars: fleet scale, current-generation share, price competitiveness, and disclosure quality. Each pillar scores 0–25. At v0 the score is judgmental; the board moves toward data-contracted submissions as providers participate.
Corrections & right-of-response
Providers may contest any figure. Corrections are published with a dated note, and provider-verified data replaces indicative values where SGC can validate the submission.
Cadence
The board updates on Mondays. FX is marked at the RBI reference rate for the relevant collection week.
What this is not
The board is not investment advice, not an offer, and not a rating. It is a market reference for operators, lenders, investors, and buyers who need a common language for Indian compute.
